  • Recognized as the 2022 Brooklyn Academy of Music / Chuck Davis Emerging Choreographer Fellow for her work in Afro-diasporic choreography, and the youngest recipient of the 2016 Sage Cowles Award for an outstanding work, Khadijah brings a bold, intentional, and community-rooted approach to movement creation.

    Her choreographic offerings span large ensemble works, intimate group pieces, and solo creations, tailored to the unique vision of each collaborator or institution.

    Whether creating for stage, screen, or community-centered spaces, her process centers cultural connection, musicality, and embodied expression.

  • Khadijah's approach to teaching dance goes beyond mastering steps, she delves into the essence of the dance form, blending techniques and highlighting Afro-Diasporic influences to honor the roots. 

    Khadijah creates a welcoming environment for all levels to explore, Instruction is available through private lessons, workshops, drop-in classes/ series, and training programs.

    She is currently teaching her viral class House Africana.

  • Khadijah redefines the concept of performance, seeing it not as performing for others, but as an invitation to share a ritual, a dance, and an experience with the audience.

    She offers a range of existing pieces ready to bring to a stage or venue near you, and creates new works, tailored for specific comissions.

  • Khadijah Siferllah brings extensive experience in event curation, creative direction, and production, having curated her own performances, including full-length choreographic works and community-centered artistic experiences. 

    In a recent project, she served as co-curator of the inaugural Atlanta AfroIndigenous Peoples Festival, helping shape a dynamic platform rooted in culture, community, and artistic exchange.

    Beyond movement, Khadijah is a visionary dedicated to bringing meaningful ideas to life. She collaborates as a curator, creative advisor, and artistic partner on funded projects, productions, and events.
